Volume 5 - Examining the Second half of the book of Acts of the Apostles. A quarterly series of 13 lessons on the second half of the book of Acts. 8.5x11 Workbook by Fred D. Whitelaw.
The description of Studies in Acts, Book 1 likewise applies to this quarterly, Studies in Acts—Book 2. Eight additional pages of valuable maps and Pauline chronologies are provided in the back of this book. They will prove invaluable in your grasp of the Apostle Paul’s dedication, travels, and great work for the Lord.
Throughout the 13 lessons you will see Luke focusing the narrative on the Apostle Paul's evangelistic efforts among the Gentiles. The accounts are fairly chronological. You will find additional information in some of Paul's epistles that add factual details to the incidents, places, and even the timing of things that Luke mentions in Acts which might otherwise seem sketchy or lacking in detail.
As the years pass by you will find occasion to return to the book of Acts and will marvel at something you missed the first time, or even the twentieth time, that suddenly falls right into place for you. Acts is the historical blueprint for the remainder of the New Testament books. Study it well and reap the benefits it provides by making the subsequent epistles that much easier to grasp.
